Early detection of breast cancer is easier today than ever. Advancements in technology have helped to increase the accuracy of mammograms and improve the quality of care provided. Dr. Joseph Russo, Section Chief of Women's Imaging at St. Luke's University Health Network, guides us through the latest developments that have greatly increased early detection and improved patient care. Dr. Karen Taverna-Miller, Ob-Gyn joins us in studio offering insight on why screening is important and the proper timing for mammograms.
